Shab-e-Arous: An evening of Remembrance & Music

Join Sheikh Murat Coşkun and the dervishes of the Rifâî Sufi Order to commemorate Shab-e-Arous: The "Wedding Night” (death anniversary) of Mevlana Jalâluddîn Rûmî, when his soul reunited with the Beloved.

This evening of remembrance is filled with Sufi poetry, live music, sema (whirling prayer ceremony), and zikr, the remembrance of God.

Dergah Night Gatherings

First Saturday of Every Month

7:00pm - 11:00pm
Location: Downtown Toronto

RSVP is mandatory using the sign-up sheet we send out via email

If you have not received the sign-up sheet of if it is your first time attending, please e-mail us at info@cisssufi.org

Cost: Free to all. Donations are welcome to offset the cost of renting the space.

Tea and coffee is served and there is a light meal served at the end of the night.

Chairs are available, however if you prefer to sit on the floor, please bring your own cushion.
